Let me put it to you in this fashion: it is in writing because terrible things do happen, and no human being has ever been a stronger, more upright individual by pretending unhappy things do not exist. If it is not your cup of tea then I encourage you to throw the stories out if you find them. It is not as though my introductions are not disclaimers to begin with.
I make no pretense that the world is without morally corrupt individuals, or that everything is good and pure. Evil exists, bad things happen. Prior to my arrival here, I was amidst crime everyday. I have thrown out your latest tale. My only confusion lies in the purpose of writing these kinds of stories at all. It is, in my humble opinion, a waste of talent.
