There is no contradiction, no. Which, at least, shows both our honesty on the issue, but the disagreement, I am sure, comes on whether that was a right and just course of action.
I don't think it was, and not just because I was the victim. I'm a policeman, and I never saw a gun in my life until I came here, but I wouldn't fire first, ask questions later. I might have been a brutal watch man in my city, I don't deny it, but I would never do that in defence of someone. Never. I would threaten them with a crossbow, yes, but never shoot first.
