[When Romana arrives at the Marquis quarters he is still inside -- in a manner of speaking, seeing as how he's a good deal smaller now. He is presently standing in his desk chair and drawing all over pieces of parchment -- some of which weren't blank to begin with.]
(ooc: oh god, he's going to hate himself once this is all over)
[He lifts his head to look up at her -- the usual wig is gone, replaced instead by a head of almost ridiculously curly hair. He blinks at Romana widely, as though attempting to comprehend what she is talking about, and then he looks down at himself, musing]
[Romana smiles, the hair is surprisingly cute, all curls]
It's temporary I'm assured...You were a lovely child if this is any indication. Lived in rather an interesting time of history, the revolution and all of that am I right"
Hm? [glances up] Oh, that came well after I was grown, let me assure you. [sits back down in his chair with a bounce -- it creaks slightly, seeing as how he was standing in it before. The Marquis winces in pain.]
[An adult Marquis would probably complain very little if suffering from pains centralized in that particular area. However, there are parts of him that he certainly grew out of -- such as a need to be fawned over.]
...
[This in mind, his jaw begins to quiver in a telling way.]
[Romana was at a loss, what did one do with small pre Revolutionary French Children when they were upset.]
Oh my...would you like...a...a glass of milk my dear. A biscuit. Do you like tea...no thats awfully English isn't it...you see the Doctor did only bring me to France that once and there was all that unpleasant business with Scaroth...What can I do to help?
[She feels terrible, she wasn't explaining this at all well]
That would perhaps be a bad idea. Wine has alcohol in it and I expect would have adverse effects on you in this state. Milk is advisable, and I will see can I find you some biscuits since you've been so polite. How is that?
Pouting didn't work for a 759 year old Time Lord when he decided to argue with me so it won't work for you. You cannot have wine until you are back to your original form. Until then you may have milk or juice.
no subject
I shall be along presently. Just um...
I shan't be long

The phenomena is known as 'Flooding' It may last a number of days but is...I believe, harmless in this instance. How are you Marquis?" she asks.
Re: [comment spam!]
I thought something was different...

No milk, thank you...
Is there wine?
[He doesn't appear to realize why that sounds like a bad idea]

Re: [comment spam!]
I always have wine.
Re: [comment spam!]
I expect you do but then you are not always a small child. It will make you ill Marquis
Re: [comment spam!]
It'll make me feel better.
