Well -- that's an interesting change. Better than being five, to be sure.

Who else is affected?

(ooc: He knows who he is XD but we'll see just how much of his old personality is there too :3 Meet the Marquis -- in his early to mid twenties -- just having come home from the 7 Years' War. >.> In body, anyhow. How much in mind?)

Then eat.

I'm talking about where we are. I'm not any younger then I was last night. Older, naturally.

Then you might want to double-check how you word things in the future. 'What' and 'Where' are two different words, last I checked.

This is the barge. You've done something bad, obviously. Apparently, when Hell doesn't want you, this is where you wind up.

True, but then what I asked wasn't incorrect. I honestly haven't a clue as to what's going on, so terms such as 'flood', aren't overtly helpful.

A barge? Lovely. I'm not dead.

If you were not dead you would not be here.

You, my friend, are quite dead.

As for flooding, when the barge brushes too closely with the living world, aspects tend to flood in, causing odd changes. Last time, we awoke as children no older than five, having been grown men the night before.

My heart still beats. I have no wounds. No nausea. No 'death rattle'. I can still feel pain, and at no point, do I recall dying.

Perhaps there's a flaw with your system, hm?

I appreciate a man with a good imagination, but you are, I think, overstepping the line a touch. You're not a writer, are you?

Believe me when I say I was just as perplexed as you, if not more.

Everyone's heart beats, everyone feels fine -- those are not symptoms of not-dying here -- ridiculous as that may sound -- and few remember how they died. Those that do wish they did not. That body you're standing in is called your second chance.
