125 - Backdated to an Hour After the Master's Last Entry

My Item has stopped responding to Iago, but his room is unchanged. Someone tell me they have seen him somewhere.

(ooc: The Master, Judas and Iago have disappeared from the Barge, as it goes with the upcoming plot :3)

Thought mine was just on the fritz. Then again, I wasn't about to go looking for my inmate.

...Are they friends? Iago and the Master?

[identity profile] impure-tale.livejournal.com 2010-04-10 03:05 pm (UTC)(link)
They have spoken -- Iago is incapable of sending private messages over the network that I cannot read. Unfortunately my ability to read responses by others is relegated solely to his own entries. I have no idea if they were friendly.
boeshane_boy: (Can I use HIM as a pin cushion?)

[personal profile] boeshane_boy 2010-04-10 03:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Huh.

Did I read that someone else was missing, too?

[identity profile] impure-tale.livejournal.com 2010-04-10 03:13 pm (UTC)(link)
Judas. I don't doubt all three are together.

And that I may strangle your Inmate when next I see him.
boeshane_boy: (idk my bff retcon?)

[personal profile] boeshane_boy 2010-04-10 03:19 pm (UTC)(link)
I'm okay with that.

I know inmates can just disappear now and then, but don't their belongings usually go with?

[identity profile] accountsettled.livejournal.com 2010-04-10 05:30 pm (UTC)(link)
It would not surprise me in the slightest if they were together. Even if Iago does not know the Master that well, Judas certainly knows them both well enough.
boeshane_boy: (Well this shit sucks.)

[personal profile] boeshane_boy 2010-04-10 05:44 pm (UTC)(link)
Can't see the Master let anyone else mastermind something he's involved in, though. So why take Iago?

[identity profile] accountsettled.livejournal.com 2010-04-10 05:49 pm (UTC)(link)
Judas would not have left without him, I do not believe.
boeshane_boy: (Come on LIE TO ME MORE BABY)

[personal profile] boeshane_boy 2010-04-10 07:55 pm (UTC)(link)
They together?

[identity profile] accountsettled.livejournal.com 2010-04-10 09:37 pm (UTC)(link)
I would say so, yes, sir. I do not truly know how to judge these relationships.
boeshane_boy: (Well this shit sucks.)

[personal profile] boeshane_boy 2010-04-10 10:22 pm (UTC)(link)
Makes sense, then.

[identity profile] impure-tale.livejournal.com 2010-04-10 07:02 pm (UTC)(link)
Iago would take a chance at liberation if the one selling it were charismatic enough. Unfortunately he and your Inmate have entirely too much in common regarding that, Captain Harkness.
boeshane_boy: (O RLY.)

Question is how the hell they got out to begin with.

Can't say I've been spending a lot of time with Saxon to know.

Is this the same Iago who knows Judas?

[[Connecting dots, one question at a time.]]

I'm afraid I just got here, but I went about searching for Judas with his Warden just yesterday. He said Iago was an ally, as well as someone he called only "the Master." Do you know the relationship of three?

Iago and Judas are companions. The Master is an oaf who cannot sit still for more than five minutes but rarely moves without lackeys to shoulder the larger burdens.

[[Companions = platonic or romantic? He can ask that later. A man with power has just been mentioned.]]

The Master is a man of power where he comes from, you mean?

[Voice]

[identity profile] impure-tale.livejournal.com 2010-04-10 07:35 pm (UTC)(link)
The Master is a man who desires power and is adept at both gaining it with panache and losing it in just as spectacular a fashion.

[[Here, you get a joke. It's dry, but it's a joke.]]

So he's a politician.

Do you know either Iago's or Judas' thoughts on the Master? Have they succumbed to his "charismatic charm," if I might be so bold, ever before?
