It's that time of year again!
Pere Noel,
Such a silly compulsion, to write anyone begging for gifts, but by now I understand that it is unavoidable. My third Christmas here. Imagine!
I require little for myself this year, though I would like to request a firearm of more modern make. One with a 'safety' setting.
[For his friends and Loved ones -- Marked Private]
For Iago - a fine coat, and his own chess set. Crystal-cut pieces, if you please. And a painting of his wife, Othello, and Desdemona. Nothing too ostentatious.
For Claire - a glass doll. Of Marie Antoinette, perhaps.
For Prefect - a new suit, of richer make than what he typically wears. Cut flatteringly. He is a Warden now. He should indulge in some stylish extravagances.
For Martha Jones - a diamond necklace.
For Armand St Just - a Venetian mask. As extravagant as you please, but see to it that it's properly mounted so he can use it for decoration.
For Jonathan Crane - Candide by Voltaire. A bottle of fine wine. And silk bedsheets.
For Henry West and his companion - On my visit to Salem I glanced a set of padded bonds that I found quite interesting. I purchased two sets, myself, for wrists and ankles, and quite enjoy them. Gift them similarly.
For Captain Kirk - a fine hat.
For Miss Rose - a silk nightgown and robe. Purple -- I should think she would wear the color well.
For the talkative playwright (Nicholas de Lenfent) - a music box which plays Au Clair de la Lune
For Sergeant Howie - a riding crop.
For Arthas - Some... intimate apparatus would be appropriate. Generously sized. He could use one. (Also shame on you for filling me with the compulsion to soften my vocabulary.)
For the Commander - A thick, heavy bathrobe. Something to keep him warm; I rather tire of seeing him shiver himself to bits in winter ports, and I can't imagine the weather here has been pleasing either.
For all others - A box of chocolate pastilles.
