My mother-in-law, actually.

She visited some time ago and burned a completed manuscript and I've been sluggishly attempting to recreate what she destroyed since.

[She was holding a laugh ready, because this is the Barge, after all, and a literal cow with accompanying funny story always remains a possibility. But the laugh is stolen by a gasp of genuine outrage.]

Oh, bollocks. Off the boat, I might've been able to do summat about that. The burning, I mean, not 'er being dead - well, I've fixed things like that too, if I'm honest, but not for book-burners.
