Tony, after missing any opportunities to make his relationship with the Marquis anything more than a vague acquaintanceship was firmly determined to...do exactly what he was doing before. Though it seemed that the Marquis was a warden now (he doubted he'd become an inmate again so quickly) and he wouldn't have to worry about any punishment for sleeping with him, knowing him personally made things very different from dealing with clients in his original profession. Which meant he'd do as he was doing now, bringing a set design and plans Act III.

Knocking on the door, he waited for an answer.

The Marquis had been up and about for about an hour that morning but had not gone down to breakfast. Fresh from a long bath (how exhilarating to not have to use the public facilities any longer), he was dressed, now, just not fully dressed when someone knocked at the door. He threw on his scarlet robe; the sleeves hung heavily on his arms but he paused briefly to favor it with affection. In Charenton it had gotten a stain in a distracting place -- he was pleased to see the garment was as good as news, now.

Coming to the door, he opened it and smiled slowly seeing who it was.

He'd been looking forward to getting back to work, after all.
