My Inmate appears to be comatose.

It's been some time since I've had to field something such as this. Is it safe for him to remain in his cabin, or should he be moved to the Infirmary?

Those of his friends and acquaintances still remaining on the ship that have not experienced this before should be aware that he is not in any danger. His health is not failing. He will be fine, and more to the point, should awaken soon enough.

In other things, I have yet to take a fall on the main deck. I consider this a small victory.

I shall pen my gift demands to Pere Noel at a later date.

[Private to Iago]

How are you?

Oh please do remember who you're talking to. That's not going to put me off. Let me help you, Iago.

[And there's a hitch in his voice.] I don't need your help.

You ought to be permitted time to grieve, like any, but when you need to climb out again, you're not alone.

Please don't hesitate to ask.

I need away, Marquis. I need...time. I need him back.

Would that I could do that for you, Iago.

It's fine for him to be in his cabin, if that's less trouble. It might be more comfort for him when he wakes up.

I had thought that.
