I don't think I've seen the ship look so bare since my initial arrival, and that is saying something -- though even then there was still elbow room in the hallways. Normally, I don't go for that "carry on as normal" nonsense, as its usually a tactic for control rather than any comfort. But I do think we are all of us entitled to some measure of comfort while here, and I do mean all of us.
While I wouldn't dream of encouraging other Wardens to do the same, as that would involve my agreeing to work within a group, since I presently have no Inmate to guide I would like to offer something else: a means to pass the time without need of special facility. Some have proposed teaching special lessons, and I have little to offer in that regard, save for perhaps one or two things. I worked in theatre, and as an Inmate here I even attempted to cobble together a production. It proved a fruitless endeavor, as many of my actors frequently disappeared until there were none left at all.
I would like to relaunch this endeavor, if anyone would be interested in partaking. This will require people who wish to audition for roles, naturally, but also people willing to help to develop everything else -- costuming, set design, props. If by then the stage in the dining hall has gone the way of the CTS and the pub, we'll simply stage it on the main deck.
For the sake of some means to pass the time and some personal enjoyment, would there be anyone on this ship potentially interested in such a thing?
