Men also buy perfume and have surgery, but they have a broader scope of colours which their hair can be dyed. Men however, are not required to reduce wrinkles or soften skin with the use of various creams. There are other creams aimed towards different ends, their hair is required to be shinier and softer than a mans, and they are encouraged to wear less when out of work.

In the lower castes there is no difference between the labor positions available for a man or a woman, however in the higher castes there are certain specified rolls designed to fit the biological function of the gender. There are no female Prefects, however, there are Female Overseers, a position equal in status and pay.
