I agree. Violence is not acceptable.

If you want to instill a sense of empathy into a person who feels none how else do you do that aside from making them feel how they make their victims feel?

...I see what you're saying. I see a reason and argument to both sides. Which is why, I think, it sucks being us sometimes. Beating is the easier way out. It's harder to break through that shell.
